in the CFMX Developer Study guide on Chapter 11 = > Page 95. they is a *caution *text .. its with regards to cookies...
*Caution*
/Because a page must finish processing before a cookie is set in the browser, you will find that if you set a cookie and then use the <CFLOCATION> tag to go to a different page, *the cookie will never be set*/
This doesn't seem correct when it comes to CFMX... it is true for CF 5 and 4.X.
(i know the reasons behind why it didn't work in CF 5 and 4)
but not sure why its still mentioned in CFMX.... any ideas ???
I think you'd call it poor editing. The certification guide is revised each product release -- but most of the content remains the same (as you'd expect).
