Base Href is the only tricky dicky way of doing it.
to expand further on Tacos tidbit.
<base href="http://www.yourdomain.com/";>
<img src="/myImages/blah.gif">
So no matter where you are in the url path, www.yourdomain.com/monkeys/see/things/differently/blah.htm (which has the above img tag)
It will always refer to the www.yourdomain.com/myImages path

Just want to get peoples opinion on Custom tags and images.
Using cfimport to import a library of custom tags so that they may be used through out my application.
We are creating the custom tags so they are portable, so little has to be done to move the library from application to application.
Problem is with IMG paths? from what I know, custom tags become their parent when referencing paths? so I cant call the images/ directory from the custom tag directory, there for making the custom tag less portable, because the image path has to be relative to the calling page?
Who has faced this problem? what are the possible solutions?
One idea I had was to use GetCurrentTemplatePath() and create a way of working out what the relative path is from its value?
