Live Communications Server 2003 is M$'s answer to
Breeze. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Kear Sent: Tuesday, 13 July 2004 4:33 PM To: CFAussie Mailing List Subject: [cfaussie] OT Microsoft hides its light again Sorry for the off-topic post, but I don't know who else to ask. (no use calling Microsoft)
I just got my Microsoft Action Pack update for the quarter and it includes SQLServer2000 Standard Edition. I thought that was what I already have. Does anyone know how to find out what version is already installed? If you use .help/about on any of the SQL Server apps, you get the version number of the app you’re looking at, not the server.
And what on earth is the Live Communications Server 2003? What does it do? Does anyone else find their marketing bumph almost impenetrable? Do you find yourself wading through their stuff and getting to the end and saying to yourself .. “yes, but WHAT DOES IT DO???? WHAT’S IT FOR????”
