In a homage to the "port-80" social group run in my birth state of WA by
the Western Australian CFUG (www.cfugwa.com) I have decided to kick of our
own version.

Port:8500 (the default server port ColdFusion MX 'listens' to when
installed as a dedicated development server) will have our first get
together as soon as I can get confirmation of some details.

To kick it off I have $500.00 to spend on dinner/refreshments for those
interested in attending our first get together - planned to be held at the
Tosolini's restaurant and cafe at Bailey's Corner - Civic.

Port:8500 will be open to all interested parties of Macromedia products
including web designers, developers, managers, consultants, recruiters,
students, freelancers and others interested in the web industry.

I will be posting more info shortly at http://port8500.actcfug.com/ but in
the meantime please feel free to email me your request to be part of the
inaugural meeting to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks for your time!

Regards,

Peter Tilbrook
Manager, ACT and Region ColdFusion Users Group
