Reading the install doco there is an inbuilt Java Runtime included with the package. Am I incorrect in this thought? As a check, part of our troubleshooting was to install the latest Java Runtime from Sun (v1.4.2??) then run CFMX setup again - install failed at the same point. Java was then uninstalled, the server rebooted and then Java Runtime v1.3.1 was installed. CFMX failed at the same point again. This is a fresh install of CFMX not an upgrade. The OS is Win2003 with IIS6 and SQL2000 SP3a installed. I have confirmed that the media is OK - installed fine on another Win2003 box with SQL2000 installed - no IIS6 on this server though... The install was attempted as Domain Admin (confirmed member of local admin) so I doubt it was a permissions issue.
