Hey guys Anyone here running Coldfusion MX 6.1 on Windows 2003 Enterprise server?
I have an issue that keeps on coming up, and its driving me nuts. For some reason, the "Coldfusion MX ODBC Server" keeps on dieing. I install the server, and a month or so later, the service just stops starting, and wont start. I try to start it and I get ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The Coldfusion MX ODBC Server service on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts services" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can anyone shed some light on this? Last time this happened, both the "Coldfusion MX ODBC Server" and the "Coldfusion MX ODBC Agent" carked it and I had to uninstall the server and re-install the server to get it back up. This has happened about 3 times now. Now, is there some reason why you can't run a "repair" on the server to re-install the actual components? Used to be able to do it with the Install Shield installers, but not with the new one.
