Kay, I actually searched for an obscure error message for CF5 (I know) and found a solution. Whether or not the client is smart enough to adopt the fix (set up a DB for storing Client variables and not rely on COOKIES) is another matter.
I was surprised to find an answer (with official mandation) so easily using MM's support system, and this is for a product that was released over 2 years ago!
