Hi all, something slightly strange here... I'm running Virtual PC on a Mac that is on our LAN. I've installed CF on it and from within the Virtual PC environment I can browse to the CF administrator.
I've set the Virtual PC up to have its own IP address. If I browse to that IP address from another machine on my LAN, I can see the CF Administrator fine. But if I browse to that IP address from the Mac that the Virtual PC is installed on, it tells me that "A connection failure has occurred". It is also not able to ping that IP address, but other machines on my LAN can ping it. Has anyone tried something like this before? I know its not completely on topic, but you guys are reeeeal clever. I've turned off the firewalls under both XP (running on VPC) and the Mac, but no difference. There are no proxies set as well. bye! ----------------------- Ryan Sabir Newgency Pty Ltd 2a Broughton St Paddington 2021 Sydney, Australia Ph (02) 9331 2133 Fax (02) 9331 5199 Mobile: 0411 512 454 http://www.newgency.com/index.cfm?referer=rysig --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
