Probably. I really think this will take a while to be explored and
then we'll start to see some very cool uses for it. I've already built
a system that processes sales orders in real time using JMS and the
event gateway and at the recent Fusebox conference I demo'd posting to
a blog via SMS and a simple interactive debugging tool, both built
with the gateway.

That's cool. I too am disappointed that the CFML language isn't
getting a bunch of tweaks but I understand why... And I have a slew of
enhancement requests in the system for a variety of language features.
I expect each release will make a few language tweaks while adding a
bunch of cool new features.
