Hmm, now I'm really curious. Could you elaborate on what the problem was?

>From looking at the livedocs, it appears that people have successfully
used CFCONTENT with excel spreadsheets. Just wondering what makes a
pdf any different. (I really should just try this out now, shouldn't
I?)

Something that I've done in the past in a JSP/Servlet driven
application to trick some browsers that refuse to download a file
that's "proxied" in this manner, is to craft the URL like below:

http://yourwebsite.com/downloader.cfm/actualfile.pdf?filename=actualfile.pdf

This approach seemed to work with some older Netscape browsers that
insisted on ignoring the headers that I'd set. I.e. the server would
end up executing "downloader.cfm" but the browser thinks it's
downloading "actualfile.pdf"

Not sure if that's any help at all, or if this is starting to digress
from Jason's original question now :-)

Abhi

PS. What does "newHo" mean?
