More flex goodness than you can probably handle. This month's CFUG QLD meeting we have a presentation showing you all the features of Flex Builder, Macromedia's new Dreamweaver based tool for creating Flex sites. After that we have a special preview of... Flex 1.5!!! So hot we had to get special permission from Macromedia just to show it to you. A copy of Flex 1.5 will be running in the meeting room, for us to do with as we please. We'll go through all the sexy new features, and see why this is such a big release for Flex. Sure the product manager for Flex will be in Sydney towards the end of the month, but the folk at the Queensland CFUG meeting in Brisbane (ColdFusion capital of Australia) will get to see this amazing product running this week! There will also be a general open floor Q&A discussion, so bring your questions and problems. We will have our usual news update from Macromedia. We've got offers from New Riders, Peachpit and O'Reilly book publishers. As usual there will be free pizza, subways and drinks. If you haven't already, then please RSVP by 12noon Wednesday, 3rd of November, as it helps make sure there's enough pizza and subs for everyone.
