Yes I am - i have WinxpSP2 and SQLServer on two machines. No problems at all.
I think your issue is probably to do with the way you are authenticating on SQLServer. IF you set up a datasource to SQLServer in the WIndows control panel, you'll prove if the issue is to do with coldfusion or windows.
