Nope - not actually an exception.

A <cfloop> requires the NAME of the query - NOT the query contents itself.

Similarly <cfoutput> requires the NAME of the query.

So - in the CFMX documentation when you see a parameter requires a
"name" then you DONT use ##.

The advice of DONT use ## other than in "" applies - UNLESS the tag is
asking for a NAME and not a VALUE.  Not an exception - a different
thing altogether.
