The problem is that performance depends so much on each individual
application that it's just not possible to give any general
guidelines. Sometimes spending some $$ on technical support from
Macromedia (folks like Brandon Purcell etc) can work wonders on the
stability and performance of your system - because they work with so
many clients that they have expertise far beyond any CFer is likely to
have...
