Mindless?
Oh my god..
Some of the best games take a bucket load of concentration to outwit your opponent. In some Role Playing Games, you have to outwit someone with spell combinations (geeky as it sounds) - ie In World Of Warcraft you have a hunter character who has to take on say a Shaman, now the hunter has to be quick and attack long-range while the shaman has to get in close enough to cast spells and do lethal damage (ie supress the hunters agility etc).
Then there is counter strike where you have to take a level with sheer panic in that I approach each corner as if its your last sight. Taking in sounds and gun fire supression ontop of that making sure you pick off the top rating char first as the rest will most likely follow.
Then there is team fortress where its just Military style warfare...
Its more to it then just mindless playing - if you're serious at it...
