Subject: [cfaussie] Re: using cfdump in cfmail

I've read somewhere (on macromedia's site.. notes about the updater),
that the updater HAS broken some of the features of CFDUMP when
outputting the CFCATCH structure (and maybe there was another one).

In all of my apps I apply site wide error handling that emails the
cfcatch
structure for any unknown errors to myself for debugging. i.e.

<cfmail blah>
<cfdump var="#cfcatch#">
</cfmail>

This has been working beautifully up until I applied the jrun updater
4
and the new cfmx updater. However, all that's displayed now is
[unknown
type] rather than the pretty stack trace, etc

The same thing also happens when I dump the cfcatch structure to
screen,
so it's nothing to do with cfmail. This can happen on various types of
erros.

any ideas?
