I am in the process of building an application that will need support after launch, and I am wondering what the penetration is like in AU. Sorry if this is a bit of an ignorant question, but are there development options in the major cities? Any stats available?
What exactly are you asking? You need someone to do your support after launch or what sort of level of support do you need to allow for?
If you mean support as in minding the site, supporting the code, fixing the bugs when it falls over at high traffic, etc., and generally holding your hand then you either want a development shop that will mind it, not a hugely probable scenario if its not their own code, or a Hosting Provider that can write CF code and maintain sites as well as host them.
If you mean the latter I can think of one or two here in Australia, ourselves being one of them! :-)
If you mean the former then define what you are looking for more precisely and hopefully we can help you.
