Hi,
I'm running Win200 with CF6.1 Std and Apache.
When I run <cfdump var="#cgi#" label="CGI"> I get a long list of CGI variables *except* it doesn't show 'cgi.request_uri'. Similarly if I simply loop over the cgi collection I don't see 'cgi.request_uri'.
Is this a bug in CF? Does CF hold some kind of internal list of the variables that it expects to find in the 'CGI' collection and uses that to index the collection for loop/dump processing?
And yes, if you're wondering, this would appear to be the solution to my 'friendly URL' question as cgi.request_uri holds the URL info in the 404 situation. The clue for this came from SitePoint: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/search-engine-friendly-urls/2 which also suggests that I need to 'fix' the header as Apache will still report the 404 (as alluded to by Mark).
Thanks,
Brett B)
