What database do you use? If you are using MySQL or pgSQL, you can use postfix MTA on a Linux box and use SQL to authenticate from the DB. Thus you can just add/delete/modify mailboxes via SQL. You can even implement quotas.
If using MS SQL, you may be able to get postfix to talk via an ODBC driver of some sort; I'm not sure about this. I know binary ODBC drivers exist for Linux.
