Dude, I wouldn't worry about not being up on the JavaScript thing. I'm a self-taught copy-and-paste hack, and I'm doing some pretty funky stuff. Yeah, its not optimized, I'm not real clear on why it does the magic it does and it wouldn't get me a coding job, but the end results get the job done quite well. Took me 2 days to come up to speed, and half that time was spent trying to figure out how to escape quotes in the JavaScript tree (backslash, in case you were wondering).
In the end, I will probably do both function-specific Flash (for some drag and drop functionality) and the JavaScript thing (simplicity). You could probably copy and paste the free tigra tree menu and get it up in about an hour. Let me know if you have any questions. Me vs dHTML/Javascript = bad mojo. Will look into it. Might go the flash path as I know how to code that..but i would be affraid it would be an overkill. j. --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
