This month at CFUG QLD:

This will be our first CFUG at our new CBD location!

MXDU is Australia's own MX technology Developers Conference. It starts
tonight in Sydney. If you'd like
to know more about it, go to this URL:
 http://mxdu.com/

When you do go to MXDU tonight, don't forget that there will be our usual
Trans Tasman User
Group Meeting where you will hear even more from some of the MXDU speakers,
get lots of giveaways, and
other great things, so make sure you fly/drive/walk down to Sydney today for
this event tonight.

This month's meeting was moved to be just after MXDU, so we could take
advantage of some of the great speakers still in the country.
We will have an extra special guest to talk to us for this meeting. Tim
Buntel, Product Manager for CFMX (Blackstone) from Macromedia in the USA,
will be talking to us about the launch of ColdFusion MX7 (Blackstone), and
giving us all the good info on this fantastic new ColdFusion release, as
well as answering all your questions. This is one not to miss, so make sure
you come along, and bring your friends.

There will also be a general open floor Q&A discussion, so bring your
questions and problems.

We will have our usual news update from Macromedia.
We've got offers from New Riders, Peachpit and O'Reilly book publishers.

As usual there will be free pizza, subways and drinks.

The day after this, Wednesday 23rd of February, Macromedia will be holding a
special CFMX7 launch event in Brisbane at the convention centre between
8:30am
and 10:30am. Its free, but you need to register for it. You can find more
details and register for it here:
 http://www.macromedia.com/ap/events/0305_cfmx7_seminar_anz_ap.html

If you haven't already, then please RSVP by 12noon Tuesday, 22nd of
February, as it helps make sure there's enough pizza and subs for everyone.

As an added incentive, everyone who gets me an RSVP, to [EMAIL PROTECTED],
will go into the draw for some fabulous door prizes.
IF YOU DON'T RSVP, YOU DON'T GO IN THE PRIZE DRAW!
Don't just hit 'reply'. You need to reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED], not to the
mailing list that this email comes from.
So send that email now!!

Don't miss it.
See you at MXDU tonight, then I'll see you next week at our CFUG.

Darren Tracey
CFUG QLD Manager
