Gavin - all you need to do is install the JRE 1.4+ on your machine, don't go moving stuff around - you've only confused the hell out of the application.
You may also wish to see if the jre has been set up right - go into cmd, and run java / javaw. You should see some stuff come up. If not your paths may not be setup right. If you need to know which version is set as the current java version type 'java -version'. It must be around 1.4 (1.3 may be okay, but I forget). Also - try not to put eclipse in a directory which has spaces in it - since it's a Java app, and Java has issues with directories with spaces in it, it can cause real issues. Hope that helps, Mark On Thu, 24 Feb 2005 14:45:59 +1100, Gavin Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello out there, > > I have been using eclipse for some time now but I have lost it from my > machine.
