I'm running a similar scale site on one std CF machine. It's linux
tho... i would not touch a windows CF box with a 10 ft pole... but
that's just me, i'm sure others on this list will disagree.

It certainly is possible to get a site like yours running on one
machine... but for high availabilty i'd say a 2nd box would be nice...
if the money is there.

In terms of code, the only thing i'll suggest is using a caching
custom tag to cache (almost) everything in the server scope. This
worked wonders for my app. I used the one i got from Robin Hilliard at
a CFUG meeting

I've also used an adapted one from farcry. I think there's a new
version now complete with admin pages. I'm sure someone can point you
