That's what I was told, yes. That's because the machine the [W|E]AR is
being deployed onto has to be running a J2EE server. Whereas the
Standard edition has its own J2EE server bundled into the CF server app.

I believe that the Standard has both less and more code than the
Enterprise edition. Less, in that it doesn't have the event gateways,
etc. More in that it has a bundled JRun server + all the code needed to have
it run as a standalone app.

What you're asking is that the deployment app build a Standard
installer. Try talking to MM to see if they'll add it to the wishlist
for Ver 8.
