Agree with Mark on the CSS aspects. 

You can also go one step further and use an Active X component called 
Script X (www.meadroid.com) to override printer settings in IE (like 
header, footer, orientation, etc). That said, with Service Pack 2 out, 
it'd only be something I'd deploy in a controlled environment.
