The online booking option is entirely my fault.
I've been very slack (ie. busy with actual paid work) and haven't put the
links onto the CFUG QLD website.
I will endeavour to get it done this weekend sometime, so you can book
online (as email seems to offend Scott now! Go figure).

This ongoing event should be great for the Brisbane CF community, and I
wholeheartedly recommend that every CF developer in Brisbane should make
some effort to go to it.

For the poor schmucks in the southern states, I'd like to take this
opportunity to again point out that Brisbane still is the CF capital of
Australia, and that this event now classes as the 4th Macromedia group for
Brisbane (MMUGS, CFUG, Suncorp Corp Champions Group and now CFLunch).
If you find it personally offensive that this little country town we call
Brisbane call pull off all these events, while the 'larger', 'more
important' cities down south are all cancelling their meetings, then pull
your finger out and _go_ to your local meetings, offer to help your local
managers out, and if something is not to your liking enough to stop you
going, then offer a suggestion (thats a suggestion, not a complaint) that
will make it better for you and the other members.

The managers from Sydney and Melbourne (the other states do too, but its
only the Sydney-siders and Melbournites that get upset when I say these
things!) put in at least as much effort as I do in preparing your local
meetings. the only thing that seperates the groups is that the users bother
going to the QLD meetings.

If this all still isn't enough for you, then this website will assist you to
attend the Brisbane CFUG meetings:
