Not sure if that will help as it shows the updated method that is exposed. I wasn't getting any returned results before the new method so they wouldn't be cached.
The other issue is there are alot of sites on the box and stopping the service isn't an option at the moment. I can try it on a different server and see how that goes. If that makes a difference I'm sure I can convince the CIO to kill the service.
