Hi Andrew,

I guess it is the combination of the proxyserver and the redirection that is causing the problem, not the redirection on its own since it works using 'plain' cfhttp.

Since you can't do anything about the redirection (except manually change the URL on your system) you're going to have to do something to fix the proxy server. And I know nuthin about proxy servers, sorry...

Brett,

Method = get doesn't work either I still get a connection failure, if it
helps I am behind a firewall and using a proxyserver in my call as well.

Andrew,

Do you need a 'method' parameter?

I just tried:

<cfhttp url="http://www.ikea.com.au/"; method="GET"></cfhttp>

<cfdump expand="Yes" var="#cfhttp#">

And it worked fine...
