If you really want 6 figures, try going up one level and focus on being good at requirements gathering. A good book is Practical Software Requirements by Benjamin L. Kovitz (http://www.manning.com/Kovitz). There's no point in being good at modelling the solution, if the solution solves the wrong problem!
