ahh, thats good news,

I want the groups to be consecutive as the query is sorted, but the
"groups" can re-occur.

consecutive records. you'll need to sort the query beforehand.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if, the group attribute on a cfoutput causes a
"real" grouping, as in re-sorting the query, and grouping on the
specifiued value, or does it only group consecutive records?
