Take a look at dbedit which has been around for donkeys. I've had problems using it with Eclipse 3.1 though.
Also check out MyEclipse plugin set which has a dbexplorer. If you have any problems connecting to the sql server toss out the microsoft driver and use the open source jtds instead.
