Sure can MSDE is the desktop version of SQL Server, but depending on how its setup you should be able to just make a connection in the same manner you make to a normal sql server.

Subject: [cfaussie] MSDE database

Hi List,

We have a new VoIP phone system that uses a MSDE database to store all its extensions and user data.

Is it possible for me to use coldfusion to pull data from this database to create a searchable phone directory.

How would I go about that?

Tom

(small words for the newbie please)
