General concensus rules and it appears we've all had enough of Flex topics this month. (I'm sure its only temporary!) We will be seeing the Flash comm Server talk. Peldi Guilizzoni's talk titled Best Practices For Flash Comm Development. A series of easy to follow hints, tips and best practices for developing a Flash Communication Server Application. As an added bonus, there will also be a short talk on Using Java Tag Libraries (JTLs) in ColdFusion. How to hook them up, where to find them, and how they can help you be the envy of your Java developing friends (not that you aren't already!). The meeting will also have our usual (and ever popular) general open floor Q&A discussion, so bring your questions and problems. We will have our usual news update from Macromedia. We've got offers from New Riders, Peachpit and O'Reilly book publishers. As usual there will be free pizza, subways and drinks.
