There's the Technical Bookshop on Swanston Street (near Lonsdale) in town. They've usually got a fairly good selection, and they can often order stuff in if they don't have it in stock. I've bought a few books there and they're not too bad. Not sure how they stack up price-wise with buying from Amazon, but at least you don't need to worry about postage.
BTW, is the list acting up or is it just my mail server playing silly buggers? I've been receiving replies to this email all afternoon, and the original email itself has only just shown up. *confuzzled* Cheers, Seona. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Ben > Lowndes > Sent: Friday, 3 June 2005 8:46 AM > To: CFAussie Mailing List > Subject: [cfaussie] Australian Tech Book Resources? > > > Hi, > Where do you all usually get your technical books from? > > Is there a good Aussie equivelant of Amazon, or is it best to just > order from Amazon in the US? > Also, are there any specific book shops in Melbourne which stock tech > books or is Borders as good as it gets? > > Thanks, > Ben > > --- > You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To unsubscribe send a blank email to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ > > __________________________________________________________________ << ella for Spam Control >> has removed Spam messages and set aside Later for me You can use it too - and it's FREE! http://www.ellaforspam.com
