Just to clarify something -

Eclipse vs. Dreamweaver is a pointless battle, because at the end of
the day, it's a question of using teh right tool for the job - and
depending on what you do (and quite likely how you do it) will depend
on what you like more.

The FAQ on Eclipse is here:
http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/faq/eclipse-faq.html#about_8

It is like comparing apples to oranges.

Eclipse is basically an all-purpose IDE with a plugin architecture. So
essentially if I put in the CFEclipse plugin, I can suddenly find I
can edit .cfm files with code highlighting and syntax
auto-completing... if i put in an XML plugin, I could find the same
thing for that etc.
In this case, it is going to be Flash authoring plugin. (Although I
will fall over it is actually an open source plugin).

Some smart people (I think at IBM?) basically turned around and
realised most IDEs are essentially the same, and differ only by some
very particular details - hence Eclipse was born.

Should be interesting to see what licence model this plugin will fall under.
