Well my first contact with the internet was in 1977, when I was
running a print department for Burroughs Corporation, and had to print
a 60 page document called "Proposal for a Packet Switching Network"
that had a lot of graphics in it with clouds and data whizzing into
and out of the clouds.

That was long before it was known as the internet, and decades before
Vice Pres Al Gore invented it.
