I have a CVS question.

If I use CVS for my projects version control, nad have been tagging all the
files with each release, and creating a branch for each major release, is
there anyway to get cvs to give me just the files that have been modified
between a tag or branch ID and either now or another branch or branch ID.
I'm trying to make a patch update and not modify files that have changed.
Its not for cfm files, but for files that update various parts of the
database. I only want the update to run the required changes, and neither
miss changes, or apply changes that are already in.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Or, is there a better place to ask this question that anyone knows about?

Things that cannot be changed:
CVS is being used. Don't suggest using Source Safe or SVN please.
The way I've described the DB changes being in a bunch of small files in CVS
is the way it is and it cannot be changed.
