We're porting our
app across to CFMX 7 and finding that updating a single record in a
Verity collection is taking at least 4-5 times longer than under CFMX 6.1. No
code changes made and out of the box CFMX 7 Standard install with hot fixes
applied. The nightly scheduled task that refreshes the collection is also
affected.
On the upside, the
searching is faster...
Had a look at the
memory usage on the server and it seems the k2server.exe is quite
greedy...
Also - we're only
indexing database tables not physical documents.
Is anyone out there
using CFMX 7 and Verity and experiencing similar problems?
