Canberra too had a pretty impressive turnout - the best since the MX 2004
launch! The Sydney event was better than expected and it was good to hear
from Nick McNaughton after too long a time.

The Daemon guys have Breeze pretty much sorted.

Much wrangling over the quiz which was a heck of a lot of fun. Strewth - Ben
Forta has 7 children! You'd wonder if he is ever home long enough!

Congrats to Brissie for beating us in the quiz - they deserve it - I've been
to a few of the meetings and they are excellent!

I suppose the next major update for us Cfers is the CF7 updater (subtle yet
with a twist of lemon) and then Scorpio. There are a few new links/articles
at www.actcfug.com where you can see pics of the birthday events and other
stuff. I guess the best thing about the updater is many more OS's will be
supported and Macs will get a decent installer.

8am this morning we setup for the live preso from Macromedia in the US and
that was pretty good despite some people using the microphone like a penis
(not good for sound transmission). Surprised I got any work done at all
today - but I did - honest!

Pity the westward states were not present. Oh well - at least the US breezo
was recorded!

So Happy Birthday CF! We luv ya! Finished work so can now have a beer for
you!

Cheers!
