Morning all,

Hoping to spark some interest in what others are doing.

Here is my scenario; I have a common framework that we use to create backend administration to all our websites. Currently this system is used for many forms of logins and at the moment to move forward I needed to look at concerns regarding privacy laws and the impact it will have on us and our clients.

What I would like to know is how you people are handling this, I have one client who demands that they need to know all the passwords to the site, and I am trying to convince them that it is not a wise thing to let clients / customers know that the password is known by my client.

What I really need is ammunition to approach management to convince them of the problem, or even if I am wasting my time on this subject. Now as I said the common framework needs to look at encrypting these passwords to the site for future bigger blue chip clients.
