I think I am missing some thing.....
If I take Chad's original example of:
<cfset MyVar = "This is an example of a variable
that I want to have go across
multiple lines">
and dump out the MyVar value, I got:
This is an example of a variable that I want to have go across multiple lines
What happened when you tested it Chad?
Do you need the multiple lines to remain?

Your have to split it up like
<cfset MyVar = "This is an example of a variable" &
"that I want to have go across" &
"multiple lines">

Subject pretty much says it. What would the syntax be to have a cfst
go across multiple lines?
<cfset MyVar = "This is an example of a variable
that I want to have go across
multiple lines">
Chad
who slipped because he forgot to buff after waxing poetic
