Yeah, does it all.  Getting philosophicall, it's all based on logic. 
As a programmer, you look at a set of data, and in your mind, you
start formulating how to build the query to access that data.  You do
it through a logical process of if/thans.

If you define your schema in the system itself, you can teach it to
follow that same process.  Grab the dependent table, link it on the
dependent field, and repeat for as many tables are needed for the data
required.  Unions and sub selects get more complicated, but not
impossible.
