The summary doesnt contain the whole document, only the first 300 chars i think, or something like that. So when you out put the summary it only displays the first part which may not contain the word you were searching for, but its in the document somewhere.

Hey Guys Just wondering if anyone had a decent explination for why verity will sometimes return a summary that does not contain the keywords the user was searching on. For example if I search on "foo" I get a summary that doesn't contain the word "foo" dispite the fact that the document does contain this keyword. -- Mark Stanton Gruden Pty Ltd http://www.gruden.com --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
