Since CFMX 7, I get an error which kills the query: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]String or binary data would be truncated. This is a problem for me because I have a massive application that's grown over the years, and in the past it wasn't a definite problem to have some data which is longer than the database field. While I realize I should go back and resize many of the input fields to accept a maximum length, I don't have time to do that at this point.
