I'm not sure about in Aussie, but in NZ you can disclaim all you like,
but it holds no legal water at all.  They're a waste of space, which
serve only to keep an office bureaucrat in a job.

But hey... like you said, it can't be helped :-)

I agree about bandwidth waste and always cut down on including other 
peoples posts as much can make sense.

Sorry that I can't do anything about the disclaimer (I am told it is a 
legal requirement for our industry).
