We have Exchange2000, and are *VERY,EXTREMELY,FANATICALLY* interesetd in leveraging exchange, if anyone can point me to some resources outlining how we might use COM to get this done, it would be much appreciated.

The Forta example is basically a view-only application. It had no interface to maintain events. We use Exchange 2000 as a database for our event calendars. Each department (or calendar category) has its own Exchange calendar and certain people in those depts can maintain their own events. We also let our "calendar-masters" maintain all calendars. The best part is we use Outlook to maintain the calendars. No sense in building another interface if I don't need to. I wrote an ASP page that uses CDO to pull data from Exchange and store it in a database for better performance, sorting and other db-whatnot. This summer, I'm changing the CDO stuff to ADO where I can query the Exchange database using SQL-like commands. I may be rambling and you may not have Exchange as your calendaring platform, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Perhaps you have some sort of already-built system (Exchange, Notes, Groupwise, etc) that you could use as the interface for the events. > > I am looking for a good web calendar application that will allow for > multiple calendars for various departments as well as a master > calendar.
