I have sat on this list for a while now and am interested in hearing
people's views on HOW they build their applications. Being from a Perl/CF
background, but having done both Java, C# and C++ in the past as well, I
have a good understading of "programming" and the concepts behind various
methodologies.

However, this list hasn't yet given up any hints/best practices on HOW to

1) scope an application (for using CFC's)
2) build projects in a structured way (ie methodologies)

I have come across various people's ideas for MVC and ColdFusion, but nobody
as yet has produced a great "here is a very good way of implementing MVC in
an app" type article.

Anyone like to give up some of their secrets? Would be very helpful for
those people who haven't yet had the chance to build a fully featured
production app in CFMX from scratch. I know that it is possible to sit on
lists and ask some questions, but the main thing people want to know is HOW
should I go about building this app I have an idea for?
