Oh, it'll dump fine when it's been xmlparsed() ( in memory) but when I either..
writeoutput(tostring(xmldom))
use cfsaveconent, or even dumping the tostring(xmldom)

found a few resources to similar problems where the output is 'null' though there hasn't been any significant reasons. (note : its outputting the literal null, not a string 'null'), its not too big of a deal now, I've rewrote the xmlclass and the other involved to use cfsavecontent and build it on a string rather than using the dom, just a strange occurance.

Robby,

  Isn't an XML object a collection/struct? You would need to access =
each
key pair to collect it's data. <CFDUMP> the variable to find out.

Just curious, what causes an xml document to eb able to be parsed =
correctly=20
in the cfdump, but when you go to tostring that xml object, it's =
returning=20
'null'

It's happening on my dev server (6.1) and production as well. =
(updater3)..

Anyone run into this?

Robby
