Andre is completely right about the database supporting transactions. That
is the simple side of it. If you want a clustered sequential index you must
have a transactional database. Then use the <cftransaction> tag to wrap the
transactions. If you are trying to figure a way to do this with Access, you
are trying to figure our how to turn a row boat into a luxury liner. Access
is a row boat with lots of extras. Remember, the extras don't tell you what
kind of boat it is! Use the right boat for the task. If a row boat will do,
it is the right boat. If you require a "clustered" server, it is a natural
assumption that you would be using a transactional database.
