I guess the question is, is it worthwhile writing a ColdFusion XForms parser
that will generate regular HTML forms that browsers will support. Tempting
as it is, I don't think it is worthwhile. It would be so much work.... 

Is this what you're talking about or are you talking about sending XForms to
the client? If so, what client actually supports them? 

My principal use for XForms so far has been as a good place to steal ideas
from.
